Our take on Little Cells
Each shot changes the cell field according to color: a matching hit removes both cells, while a mismatch creates a cell of the third color.
What is Little Cells?
Little Cells is a 2D high-score puzzle game played through a microscope view of an expanding world.
Launch a cell at one of the same color and both cells disappear. Hitting a cell of another color creates a cell in the third color. Cells age, darken, and can spread contamination across the system, so players create white cells to cure the infection and stay alive as long as possible. The game is built around short sessions and beating personal or friends’ high scores. Players can unlock new powers, earn Steam achievements and trading cards, and compete on friends’ and worldwide leaderboards. It is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
How Little Cells plays
- 01Color-Based Cell Reactions
- Matching colors remove both cells, while a different-color collision produces a cell in the remaining color.
- 02Infection Management
- Aging cells darken and spread contamination, while white cells can cure the infection.
- 03Score Competition
- Leaderboards track scores among friends and worldwide.
