Our take on Luxor: 5th Passage
The game focuses on one sphere-matching loop across its modes, so it gives up broader adventure variety and character-driven progression. Its variety comes from level layouts, difficulty settings, power-ups, and timed scoring rather than from substantially different gameplay systems.
What is Luxor: 5th Passage?
Luxor: 5th Passage is a marble-shooting action-puzzle game set in ancient Egypt.
Players fire colored balls from a winged-scarab shooter into advancing chains, forming matches of three or more to remove spheres before they reach the pyramids. Adventure mode contains 100 levels, while Blast mode sets a two-minute scoring challenge. People’s Choice mode includes 15 levels selected from Luxor 2, Luxor 3, and Quest for the Afterlife. The game includes four difficulty settings, 20 achievements, four new power-ups, 25 backgrounds and pathways, a bonus stage, and the Eye of Horus, which clears remaining spheres. An Insane difficulty level adds a higher challenge.
