Our take on Cellfish
The store presentation emphasizes deep survival action, major playstyle changes, and challenging opponents. The stated structure is narrower: repeated randomized runs centered on collecting food, upgrading abilities, avoiding attack patterns, and customizing one cell.
What is Cellfish?
Cellfish is a survivor-like roguelite set in a deep underwater environment.
Each run places a cell among food and increasingly numerous enemy cells. Collecting food allows the cell to evolve, while upgrades increase its strength and the effectiveness of its abilities. Combat focuses on staying alive as enemies close in. Runs are randomized, creating different experiences each time. Abilities alter the way the cell plays, and unlockable skins and body parts provide visual customization. Enemy cells and bosses use distinct attack patterns that players must learn to avoid. The game combines food collection, evolving character abilities, survival combat, and character customization within repeated runs.
