Our take on Once Upon A KATAMARI
The edition name puts the music bundle in focus, but the included content is two song collections alongside the game. The gameplay description spends more space on rolling through eras, character choices, and KatamariBall than on explaining what the soundtrack collections contain.
What is Once Upon A KATAMARI?
Once Upon A KATAMARI is a rolling game set across eras including the Jurassic period, the Ice Age, and historic Japan.
After the King accidentally destroys Earth, the Moon, and other planets, players roll a katamari through new stages to restore the stars. A magnet support tool draws nearby objects toward the katamari. Players can take control of the Prince or choose from 68 cousins and relatives, then change their colors and faces. The game also includes KatamariBall, a four-player online competition, with CPU opponents available for offline practice. The King of All Sounds Edition bundles the game with two Katamari Damacy series song collections, Side A and Side B.
