Our take on Plexarium
The game centers on maze-solving, fuel collection, and escape, keeping its objectives focused. That narrow structure leaves less room for varied activities or broader exploration than a game built around multiple mission types.
What is Plexarium?
Plexarium is set aboard a research station where spilled Zorlithium has affected the spiders and some crewmembers are missing.
The player must find fuel cells to power the transporter and return home. Mazes are navigated with a phaser that can reveal what is hidden around a corner or create force fields to trap robotic spiders. Each trapped spider earns a bonus item. The game includes eight types of bonus items, such as radar, turrets, a shield, and a phaser boost. Time trial mode ranks players by how quickly they solve ten mazes. Endurance mode ranks them by the number of mazes completed using three lives, with a separate leaderboard for each mode.
