Our take on BioGun
The game combines shooting with organ exploration, cell-related side missions, and DNA changes through Nano-Chips. That breadth trades some of the single-purpose focus found in a straightforward shooter for a mix of combat, discovery, and optional tasks.
What is BioGun?
BioGun is a side-scrolling shooter set inside a dog, where Bek battles the Dooper Virus in a mission to save the canine species.
Players travel through winding passages and vital organs, meet friendly and hostile cells, and fight bosses inspired by diseases. Combat includes multiple weapons, while Nano-Chips alter DNA and support different playstyles. Defeated enemies can provide new powers. Side missions involve helping cells, and organ exploration can reveal rewards and information about local life forms. The game presents a hand-drawn microscopic world populated by animated cells, germs, viruses, and bacteria. Hidden secrets are placed throughout the dog’s body, and music by Juhani Junkala accompanies the mission.
