Our take on Infinity: Battlescape
The store presentation foregrounds enormous battles and a large star system, while the moment-to-moment structure also centers on infrastructure capture, resource logistics, credits, ranks, and ship specialization. The strategic layer is present, but less prominent than the scale-focused framing.
What is Infinity: Battlescape?
Fight for control of a procedurally generated solar system in multiplayer space combat.
Players join corporate factions and battle across moons, planets, asteroid rings, and space stations, with matches that can last from hours to days. Battles involve player- and AI-controlled ships, strategic infrastructure, resource transport, and faction-wide credit distribution. Destroy enemy factories, bases, and stations while defending facilities that produce ships. Complete side missions, gain ranks, and earn credits for ship upgrades, weapons, and equipment. Ship classes include interceptors for scouting, corvettes with defensive or offensive configurations, carriers that serve as mobile spawn points, and heavily armed cruisers. The game supports large space and planetary engagements on a single server.
