Our take on Guns of Icarus Alliance
The bounce point arrives when a player tries to carry a mission alone. Piloting, gunnery, and repairs are split across the crew, while the ship serves as a shared life bar, so individual play cannot replace coordinated teamwork.
What is Guns of Icarus Alliance?
Coordinate a crew aboard a customizable steam-powered airship, taking roles such as pilot, gunner, or engineer.
Missions include escorts, convoy raids, base assaults, infiltrations, and other battles against adaptive AI. Crews can also fight human-controlled opponents. Six factions compete for territory and resources, with victories and defeats affecting the wider war and the evolving story. Players begin with basic hulls and combine hundreds of custom parts before assembling a crew. The ship acts as the shared life bar: when it is destroyed, the crew is defeated. Faction objectives and missions can provide character costumes and experimental weapons. After a key victory or other notable event, a player’s name may become part of the official lore.
