Our take on Flight of the Icarus
Rather than treating an airship as simple transport, the game makes piloting a maintenance task: turret combat, repairs, and cargo delivery happen within the same airborne scenario. Its structure combines vehicle shooting with keeping the vessel operational.
What is Flight of the Icarus?
Play as a privateer transporting goods between towns aboard an airship in a post-apocalyptic world controlled by pirates.
Operate deck-mounted turrets to attack enemy aircraft while managing repairs that keep the vessel airborne. Cargo must reach its destination, adding delivery objectives to the combat. The game contains 18 levels, eight guns, four enemy types, and a survival mode called Into the Breach. Time-of-day and weather changes affect the setting. Enemy encounters include Duster and Gunship aircraft, Pirate Aces, and opposing airships. Purchasing the game also unlocks the Fallen Hero Cap in Guns of Icarus Online.
