Our take on TASOMACHI: Behind the Twilight
The focus on town exploration, collecting, and movement stages leaves less room for combat-driven action. Its outfit and room features also make completionist collecting part of the overall structure rather than a separate activity.
What is TASOMACHI: Behind the Twilight?
TASOMACHI: Behind the Twilight follows Yukumo, whose airship breaks down after arriving at a quiet Eastern-fantasy town.
She explores the town to find repair parts and Sources of Earth while investigating the disappearance of its inhabitants, leaving only the cat-like Nezu Tribe behind. The town changes subtly between night and day, and the Nezu may offer clues. Yukumo can also travel by airship across piers, valleys, and lakes. Athletic stage-like Sanctuaries test movement skills on the town’s outskirts. Money found during exploration can be used to change outfits and decorate a room, with a collection to complete.
