Our take on Hexguardian
The listing gives substantial attention to the range of towers, units, spells, Wonders, terrain effects, and unlocks, but the core loop remains surviving tower-defense days through route placement and repeated runs. The two headline modes are Standard and a weekly Challenge mode.
What is Hexguardian?
Hexguardian combines roguelite progression with tower defense on procedurally arranged hexagonal maps.
Defeating enemies provides tiles that can extend routes, improve building positions, or close loops around enemy portals. Defenses include arrow, bomb, fire, and ice towers, alongside swordsmen, archers, spells, support buildings, and large Wonders. Terrain, elevation, weather, and elemental combinations affect defensive options. Standard Mode offers a technology tree funded by previous runs, with unlocks for towers, units, upgrades, maps, and difficulty settings. Challenge Mode changes weekly and limits available resources while tracking leaderboard results. Boss victories grant blessings, while surviving additional days awards trophies used for further unlocks.

- 05Run-based progression
- Boss blessings, survival trophies, new maps, and difficulty settings expand the available options across completed runs.
