Our take on Become the Moon
The focus on reaching the moon frames the game as a journey, but the described structure is a repeated roguelike gauntlet. Its core activity is drafting cards, arranging minions, and managing resources before automatic battles determine the result.
What is Become the Moon?
Become the Moon combines deckbuilding, auto battles, and roguelike progression.
Choose from 10 characters with different playstyles, then assemble decks containing minions, spells, and relics. During each run, draft cards, develop synergies, improve cards, and manage mana and health. Battles resolve automatically after minions are positioned, swapped, or reshuffled, while battle spells can be cast to respond to opponents. A run takes players through a sequence of enemies, with failure followed by another attempt. Relics modify decks, and each round offers opportunities to expand the available cards and build around different combinations.
