Our take on Dicealot
Rather than treating dice as a fixed source of random results, the game makes continued rolling the central decision. Each turn becomes a wager: stop with the current score or risk losing it while pursuing a larger combination.
What is Dicealot?
Dicealot is a roguelike dice-builder set in a chaotic Camelot.
Its combat uses push-your-luck, Farkle-inspired rolls: continuing can build larger combos and scores, while pushing too far loses everything earned during that turn. Each run begins with a simple dice set, with shops between battles offering ways to expand and refine it. The game includes more than 100 dice, 10 weapons with distinct abilities, over 30 enemies with varied abilities and unique dice, and 7 difficulty levels. Weapon choices support different approaches, from smaller consistent hits to attempts at large rolls. Players guide Queen Guinevere and the Knights of the Round Table while facing the curse that has befallen King Arthur.
How Dicealot plays
- 01Push-Your-Luck Combat
- Players can continue rolling to increase combos and scores, but a failed push removes the gains made that turn.
- 02Dice Collection
- Runs can include more than 100 dice with effects that change odds, increase scores, or create risks.
- 03Weapon Choices
- Ten weapons provide different abilities and encourage distinct approaches to combat.
- 04Camelot Enemies
- More than 30 foes, including mystical creatures, use varied abilities and unique dice.
- 05Difficulty Levels
- Seven difficulty levels provide different challenges for repeated runs.
