Our take on Flame Over
The store page emphasizes changing rooms, secrets, and long-term variety, but the setting remains one 16-floor building. Its promotional framing also gives less space to the repeated loop of firefighting, rescues, item collection, and character upgrades.
What is Flame Over?
Flame Over is a top-down firefighting action game with roguelike role-playing mechanics.
Players guide Blaze Carruthers through all 16 floors of the Infernal Industries building, spraying water at fires while racing against time. Fires can spread during play, and each run uses changing layouts with thousands of room variations and hidden secrets. The building contains four game zones and hazards throughout. Players can rescue panicking people and cats, find hidden items, equip powerups, and upgrade Blaze.
