Our take on Forest Fire
The focus on destruction and repeated runs leaves less room for a traditional story campaign or varied non-combat activities. Persistent progression remains, but the central loop stays focused on burning targets, dodging hazards, and restarting after death.
What is Forest Fire?
Control a spreading forest fire in a roguelite destruction game where pixels are physically simulated.
Burn trees, buildings, vehicles, people, helicopters, and monuments while avoiding rain clouds, firefighters, planes, and other obstacles. Each run differs, with permanent level-up points providing progression after death. The game includes five unique levels and three modes: Main Quest, Endless Mode, and Insane Mode. It also features permadeath, numerous bullet-hell patterns, unlockable content, persistent statistics, more than 30 achievements, and hidden characters, monuments, and oddities. Burning buildings increases combo points while causing firefighting forces to become more angry. The forest is described as vast and unending, with secrets hidden throughout.
