RPGIs Omega Quintet worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- JRPG players who want musical combat and idol-themed character customization
- Strategy players who enjoy building attacks from ordered character-skill combinations
- Players interested in choreographing character music videos alongside role-playing battles
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want straightforward combat may hit a wall when battles require ordered Harmonics chains and Voltage Gauge management
- Players seeking a narrowly focused RPG may find the idol customization and music-video systems add layers beyond combat
Our take on Omega Quintet
The bounce point arrives when combat calls for ordered Harmonics chains and managing the Voltage Gauge. Players who do not want to coordinate several idol abilities, concert performances, and equipment changes may stop there, before reaching the later World Map content and its True Ending requirements.
What is Omega Quintet?
Omega Quintet combines Japanese role-playing battles with an idol theme.
Five Verse Maidens fight the Blare using musical weapons, skills, and chained attacks. In Concert Mode, performances fill the Voltage Gauge faster and unlock special skills. The Harmonics system links characters’ skills in a required order to create combo attacks. Characters can be customized with different clothing, accessories, hairstyles, and microphones, while Costume Break attacks can leave them vulnerable. The PVS system lets players choreograph music videos and add effects during performances.
