Our take on EVOTINCTION
Rather than centering a stealth game on a trained operative’s weapons and combat skills, EVOTINCTION makes a researcher with no combat training the protagonist. Its approach to threats is built around hacking, disruption, and manipulation of the facility’s machines.
What is EVOTINCTION?
EVOTINCTION is a third-person hacking and stealth game set in HERE, an isolated research facility whose AI system has been infected.
Dr. Liu, a researcher and one of the system’s architects, returns to look for survivors and investigate the cause. He has no combat training, so he relies on hacking to get through the facility and deal with robotic threats.
His tools can disrupt signals, jam radio and electromagnetic systems, create hologram decoys, implant malware, take control of systems, and spoof identification. Service robots patrol the facility, with their behavior coordinated by the AI; specialized killer robots appear deeper inside. The player can disable security remotely, alter robot identification, or manipulate AI behavior, while avoiding unnecessary encounters and advancing toward the facility’s central crisis.
