Our take on Drone Swarm
Its defining mechanic is directing a vast swarm by assigning behaviors and drawing movement paths, turning the drones themselves into both the attacking force and the defensive resource.
What is Drone Swarm?
Control 32,000 individually simulated drones in fast tactical battles against three alien factions.
Select behaviors such as attacking, defending, physical impacts, or energy-based actions, then draw paths for the swarm to follow. Drones can strike weak points, form barriers against lasers and rockets, ram enemies, or redirect asteroids. Enemy forces combine abilities including shields, mines, repair beams, disabling weapons, and other attacks, requiring different responses in each encounter. Protect the immovable mothership while surviving enemy waves, then upgrade both the swarm and mothership before traveling to the next system. The campaign goal is to stay alive long enough to reach New Earth.

Drone Swarm compared to similar games
Men of War: Assault Squad focuses on commanding World War II units with direct, hands-on combat, while Drone Swarm centers on path-based control of a 32,000-drone formation against alien abilities. Xenonauts uses small squads of persistent soldiers in turn-based battles and adds a Cold War-era alien-defense setting; Drone Swarm instead uses fast encounters, a mothership, and upgradeable swarm tactics.
