StrategyIs ABRISS - build to destroy worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who enjoy physics-based destruction and want to construct machines from modular parts
- Campaign players who like replaying stages for higher destruction percentages or fewer moves
- Creative players interested in sandbox experiments, destruction photography, GIFs, or Workshop sharing
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking direct combat or character-centered progression may stop at the construction-and-destruction setup.
- Players who want a fixed, low-experimentation puzzle format may hit a wall when choosing parts and testing physical outcomes.
- Players looking for a broad multiplayer strategy game may find the scope centered on individual destruction stages and sandbox play.
Our take on ABRISS - build to destroy
The bounce point arrives during construction: success depends on selecting and combining parts, then testing how the resulting structure behaves against targets. Players who want immediate action without building, adjusting, and replaying setups may stop before the destruction sequence becomes the focus.
What is ABRISS - build to destroy?
ABRISS is a physics-based destruction game built around assembling structures from parts with different weights, shapes, and functions.
Combine connectors, thrusters, rotators, lasers, bombs, pillars, and heavy cubes to create machines such as rockets and hammers. In campaign mode, destroy the main targets in seven worlds, each containing several stages and bonus levels, while working with a limited set of parts and a distinct environmental mechanic. New parts become available as progress continues.
Stages can be replayed to destroy a greater percentage of the cityscape or use fewer moves. Sandbox mode allows experimentation with unlocked and unavailable parts. Endless mode uses a high-score structure, while photo mode, GIF creation, controller support, remappable controls, and Steam Workshop support add creation and sharing tools.
How ABRISS - build to destroy plays
- 01Physics Construction
- Parts vary in weight, shape, and function, allowing combinations such as thruster-powered machines, rotating lasers, and heavy hammers.
- 02Campaign Worlds
- Seven worlds contain hand-built stages and bonus levels with limited starting parts and world-specific environmental mechanics.
- 03Replayable Destruction
- Completed stages can be revisited to destroy a larger share of the environment or finish with fewer moves.
- 04Sandbox Experiments
- Sandbox mode supports testing new construction patterns and trying parts that have not been unlocked in the campaign.
- 05Endless Mode
- An endless mode tracks progress toward a high score.
- 06Destruction Photography
- Photo mode provides a free camera, time controls, filters, and 4K JPEG export.
- 07Workshop Creations
- Sandbox creations can be saved locally or exchanged through Steam Workshop.
