Fantastic Contraption is a room-scale VR building game set across a surreal floating archipelago.
Players construct life-sized machines from spinning wheels and stretchable rods, then send them across gaps, upward paths, and distant spaces to move a purple ball to its goal. The game includes 50 official puzzles with varied difficulty and allows multiple working designs, including vehicles, catapults, conveyor systems, walking machines, and gravity-based structures. Contraptions are assembled by grabbing, stretching, juggling, and placing parts with motion controllers.
Online sharing lets players load creations from friends and other community members. A level editor supports making puzzles for sharing. The game also includes Neko, a living toolbox, interactive physics, built contraptions that can produce instruments, and a surreal landscape with sky whales.
