Our take on Broilers
Indirect control is the central trade-off: players focus on breeding and programming, but cannot direct pawns’ movement or actions during play.
What is Broilers?
Broilers is a turn-based online game built around breeding rather than direct unit control.
Players create species with different characteristics, prioritize those characteristics, assign cards to pawns, and set programs for their actions. Pawns advance and attack without direct movement or action commands, so play centers on planning and timing new species. The game combines offensive and defensive objectives, with each side moving toward the opposing base. Eggs can be placed on the field as obstacles. Its board-game appearance does not reflect its main mechanics. Bropedia covers the game’s systems, while practice and training are part of learning how to apply them.

- The game frames play as an online contest against an opponent.
