- Players who want a solo-only experience may not want the emphasis on head-to-head competition.
Our take on Agricola: All Creatures Big and Small
The tight worker limit gives each round a clear decision structure, but it leaves little room for unfocused play: only three workers are available per round, across eight rounds. The design centers on building and comparing farms rather than offering a broader range of activities.
What is Agricola: All Creatures Big and Small?
Build a farm from a hut and fields by assigning workers to village market spaces, where they barter for goods and livestock.
Breed different animals and add special buildings as the farm develops. Each game lasts eight rounds, with three workers available per round, so choices about where to send them shape the farm. Compete against a neighbor in two-player matches, play against AI, or compare results on a worldwide leaderboard. The digital version includes the More Buildings Big and Small expansion. A Playback feature lets players revisit completed games, and cross-platform multiplayer supports matches with players in other locations.
