- Players who prefer short stage-based challenges involving aircraft
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want forgiving mistakes may bounce off the one-collision game-over rule.
- Players who dislike timing pressure may hit a wall when command cards enter cooldown.
- Players seeking direct aircraft piloting may not fit the command-card approach.
- Players looking for a broad management simulation may find the focus on routing aircraft through stages too narrow.
Our take on Pocket and Zooom
The bounce point arrives when a card has been used and its cooldown prevents an immediate response. Players must anticipate collisions and route changes rather than correct every problem instantly, while later stages add more aircraft and more frequent hazards.
What is Pocket and Zooom?
Pocket & Zooom is a puzzle game about directing aircraft to their destinations.
Aircraft move steadily, so players monitor airport conditions and intervene when routes become dangerous. Six command cards, including Stop and Change Route, let players alter aircraft movement and keep them away from obstacles or other aircraft. Each card enters a cooldown after use, making timing part of the puzzle. A collision ends the game. Stages become harder as they add more aircraft and increase the frequency of dangers. Players must guide every aircraft safely to its destination to clear each stage.
How Pocket and Zooom plays
- 01Six command cards
- Available actions include stopping an aircraft and changing its route.
- 02Command cooldowns
- Cards cannot be used again immediately after activation, so commands must be timed.
- 03Growing aircraft counts
- Later stages increase the number of aircraft that must reach their destinations.
- 04Collision failure
- A single collision ends the game.
