Our take on ATC Ground Point
This simulation shifts airport play away from flying or managing a whole airline and focuses on ground movement. Its main structure is a sequence of routing decisions involving stands, runways, tower handoffs, towing, and departure slots.
What is ATC Ground Point?
Direct aircraft between stands and runways at 10 airports, including locations in Vancouver, Helsinki, London City, Fort Myers, Seattle, Rome, Osaka, Seoul, Melbourne, and Shanghai.
Use point-and-click controls or issue text and voice commands. Manage arrival flow, hand aircraft to the tower near departure runways, clear runway crossings, and authorize towing between stands. Aircraft may need extra time or return to the gate. Play in endless, aircraft-movement, or time-based modes. Adjust arrival rates before or during control, or enable automatic changes between busier and quieter periods. Customize aircraft icons and the interval between pilot messages. Workshop airports and an airport builder provide additional layouts. Arrival scores track stationary time, while departure scores compare takeoff timing with assigned slots.
