Our take on Line Time
The focused objective keeps each stage centered on routing balls to destinations, but that specialization leaves little room for broader puzzle objectives or unrelated gameplay systems. The turn-based format also trades immediate action for deliberate sequencing and prediction.
What is Line Time?
Guide one or more balls to their destinations on grid-based puzzle boards.
Each turn allows a choice among five commands: moving up, down, left, right, or stopping. The challenge comes from arranging those commands in the correct sequence and predicting how the balls respond. Some stages include multiple balls whose collisions affect the solution. Conveyor belt boxes add another layer by directing balls according to their own timelines, requiring movement sequences to account for those changes. The game presents more than 200 levels, introducing its basic mechanics before moving into stages built around increasingly complex interactions. Its structure centers on planning, issuing commands, and observing the resulting movement in a turn-based environment.
How Line Time plays
- 01Five Movement Commands
- Each turn offers four directional choices plus a command that leaves the ball stationary.
- 02Multiple Ball Puzzles
- Some boards require planning around collisions between more than one ball.
- 03Timed Conveyor Boxes
- Conveyor mechanisms alter ball movement through their own sequences of actions.
- 04200+ Levels
- The game includes over 200 stages that move from basic mechanics into more demanding puzzles.
