Our take on Bionic Dues

The defining structure is the campaign route: only 30 to 50 missions are chosen from 120 discovered missions, so preparation for the final robot assault depends on which missions are selected.

What is Bionic Dues?

Bionic Dues is a turn-based tactical roguelite about stopping a robot rebellion before the city is destroyed.

Explore the city map, find loot, and destroy important robotic facilities while choosing 30 to 50 missions from the 120 discovered missions. Mission layouts are procedurally generated and span 23 categories. Build a squad of four Exos from six classes: Assault, Siege, Science, Sniper, Ninja, and Brawler. Procedurally generated equipment provides weapons, defensive improvements, and abilities. Six pilots add campaign-long perks. Enemy robots have faults such as poor navigation, weak aim, distraction, and betrayal that can be used tactically. Campaigns support standard saving and reloading or an ironman mode, with difficulty settings from casual to hardcore.

How Bionic Dues plays

01Branching mission route
A campaign selects 30 to 50 missions from the 120 discovered missions, affecting preparation for the final battle.
02Six Exo classes
The squad can combine Assault, Siege, Science, Sniper, Ninja, and Brawler units, each with distinct equipment and builds.
03Procedural equipment
Found items can add weapons, defensive upgrades, and new abilities to the four Exos.
04Faulty enemy robots
More than 40 bot types have weaknesses including navigation errors, poor aim, distraction, and a tendency to betray allies.
05Ironman option
Players can either save and reload during a campaign or use a mode that removes that flexibility.

Bionic Dues compared to similar games

Shogun Showdown also combines turn-based combat with roguelike progression, but it centers on positioning, attack tiles, combos, and deck construction. Bionic Dues instead organizes play around a four-unit Exo squad, mech equipment, mission selection, and enemy-robot weaknesses.
