Our take on Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles
The dual Purification and Corruption system creates tactical flexibility by making health management part of ability use. That flexibility comes with a cost: taking Corruption can activate skills, but excessive exposure can consume the Oracle.
What is Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles?
Astrea is a roguelike deck-building game built around dice rather than cards.
Players assemble a dice pool, edit die faces, and choose among three dice types with different risk profiles. Its central system contrasts Purification, which can harm enemies or restore health, with Corruption, which can harm the player or heal enemies. Corruption also activates abilities tied to the health bar, but excessive corruption consumes the character. Six Oracles offer distinct dice sets and playstyles, while 20 upgradeable Support Sentinels add dice rolls. Runs include more than 170 Blessings, over 20 random events, enemy-die manipulation, and 16 difficulty levels.
