Our take on Victory At Sea
Rather than confining naval strategy to isolated encounters, the game combines a global campaign map with real-time fleet battles. Players choose operations, manage forces across hundreds of ports, and alter battle speed, replacing a fixed mission sequence with a broader command structure.
What is Victory At Sea?
Command naval forces across three World War II campaigns set in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Mediterranean.
Build a fleet from more than 80 ship classes, select a nation, and progress from destroyer captain to admiral. Campaign activities include attacking shipping, defending convoys, weakening patrols, landing troops at ports, covert operations, and special missions. Hundreds of ports provide locations for strategic choices and battles. Players can slow or accelerate time during engagements, while weather and daylight affect combat. Historical Battle mode recreates famous conflicts with predefined objectives, and custom battles support scenarios ranging from small skirmishes to large clashes. Fleets can be selected from Axis or Allied forces representing six playable nations.
