Our take on Atlantic Fleet
The focus on operational planning and turn-based engagements limits the immediacy of combat. Players trade real-time action for control over fleet composition, convoy routes, resources, and targeted attacks across several campaign structures.
What is Atlantic Fleet?
Atlantic Fleet is a turn-based naval strategy game set during the Battle of the Atlantic.
Players command either the Allies or the Kriegsmarine across surface ships, submarines, carriers, and land-based aircraft. Combat includes convoy protection, submarine wolf packs, surface raiders, carrier missions, and air strikes. Battles support up to 10 ships per side, with targeting for individual ship systems and buoyancy-based sinking rather than hit-point bars. The game includes 30 historical standalone missions, a custom battle editor, 50-mission campaigns for each faction, and a dynamic campaign spanning 1939 to 1945. Its naval roster covers 62 historical ship classes, more than 630 ships, 450 submarines, and 13 aircraft.
