Our take on Strategic Mind: The Pacific
Its defining structure is the two-sided campaign: the United States and Japan each receive a playable perspective on the Pacific War, rather than the conflict being presented through one commander's experience.
What is Strategic Mind: The Pacific?
A turn-based strategy game covering the Pacific War between the United States and Japan.
Two campaigns let players command both sides of the conflict. Operations combine large naval engagements, aircraft, submarines, and amphibious landings. Fleets can be organized between missions, with ships and aircraft becoming available at historically appropriate points. Units gain experience and can develop selected skills, while attachments provide additional equipment for customized formations. Naval combat models damage to systems including weapons, hulls, engines, and flight decks, with damage affecting a ship’s performance. Commander abilities and war heroes add further choices during operations. Plot-focused cutscenes present the campaign’s events, and both campaigns are included in the purchase.
