Our take on Strategic Mind: Blitzkrieg
The focus on German-led continental battles gives the campaign a specific historical perspective, at the cost of covering only one side of the conflict as its central viewpoint. Its emphasis on land warfare also leaves naval combat in a supporting role.
What is Strategic Mind: Blitzkrieg?
This turn-based World War II strategy game follows German forces through a plot-driven campaign focused on continental battles, with ground, air, and naval units and an emphasis on land warfare.
Operations include primary and secondary objectives, with cinematics before and after each one and voiced dialogue during missions. Troops gain levels and skills, can be equipped for each operation, and can be upgraded or replaced with new units. Captured enemy equipment can also be used in later battles. Awards provide access to headquarters skills.
The campaign includes historical personalities and scenarios that explore alternative outcomes. Day and night cycles and changing weather appear alongside 3D unit models. The vendor says updates and some additional content are included, while leaving open the possibility of extra DLC.
