Our take on Up to Par
Each shot has two possible uses: it advances the golf round or, when spare, can be spent on upgrades. That trade-off defines the run's progression.
What is Up to Par?
Use golf shots as both moves and spending power in a minigolf game built around procedurally generated courses.
Stay under par to continue a run; going over par ends the attempt. Spare shots and increased high scores unlock obstacles, items, environments, modifiers, and costumes. Abilities can be bought from the Pro Shop during a round, with new abilities also available to unlock permanently for future attempts. Progress further to discover additional courses, each with distinct challenges. Play solo, cooperate with up to 4 players by sharing resources, or compete with up to 16 players. Multiplayer is available online or locally. A Weekly Challenge offers an additional goal alongside beating a personal record.
