Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking relaxed exploration may hit a wall when anomalies and monsters punish mistakes during dungeon trips.
- Players who dislike inventory management may stop when changing items requires removing them from the inventory and combining objects to create space.
- Players looking for a broad competitive multiplayer format may not find the 1–4-player cooperative structure suitable.
- Players who prefer fixed, familiar environments may dislike moving between labyrinths and modern buildings from merged worlds.
Our take on Night City
The bounce point comes when limited inventory, food, and water converge with dangerous encounters. Players who do not want to assign roles, combine items, or study monster behavior may stop during resource-heavy dungeon expeditions.
What is Night City?
Night City is a cooperative first-person horror game for 1–4 players.
Players control company clones sent into dungeons formed from merged worlds, searching for valuable objects and supplies. Expeditions can lead through ancient labyrinths or modern buildings, while monsters and anomalies create dangers to investigate and avoid. Inventory space is limited, so found objects can be combined into new items or used to make room. Players can assign roles, and changing an item requires removing it from the inventory. Food and water are needed during exploration. If a player dies, teammates can collect that player's belongings.
How Night City plays
- 01Four-player cooperation
- Teams can include between 1 and 4 players, with members coordinating their roles during dungeon trips.
- 02Mixed dungeon settings
- The anomaly connects locations such as old labyrinths and modern buildings.
- 03Inventory crafting
- Combining recovered objects creates new items and opens space in the limited inventory.
- 04Monster investigation
- Players must learn about each monster's strengths and weaknesses through encounters.
- 05Survival supplies
- Food and water need to be gathered before or during expeditions to avoid dying while exploring.
- 06Recoverable belongings
- After a character dies, surviving teammates can retrieve the items left behind.
