Our take on Twin Hawk
The game concentrates on compact arcade shooting and repeated stage loops, giving up broader exploration, progression systems, and varied mission structure found in larger action games.
What is Twin Hawk?
Twin Hawk is a vertical-scrolling military shoot ’em up in which players battle tanks, battleships, and enemy barrages.
A formation of six allied fighters can be summoned for additional fire, or converted into a bomb before formation for destructive attacks. The international version supports two-player cooperative play. Clearing the final stage begins another loop from stage one, with increasing difficulty and denser bullet patterns. The PC version includes quick saves, rewind, replay capture, online leaderboards, adjustable assist features, a Very Easy mode, practice customization, and Steam Achievements. Display options include pixel-perfect or full-screen scaling and 90-degree rotation, while input can use Raw Input on Windows or Steam Input.
