Our take on Tracks of Thought
The game makes conversation and conflict resolution its central activities, leaving conventional combat outside its focus. Its carriage-based journey also narrows exploration to a train, trading a wider setting for distinct passenger groups and challenges along the route.
What is Tracks of Thought?
Play as a lost ladybug investigating a train whose passengers have forgotten something important.
Meet dozens of insect characters and learn what motivates them through conversation. Disagreements are handled with a card-based battle of wits, where the aim is to find common ground. Choices made in the first train car shape the ladybug’s personality, and one of seven possible companions joins the journey as an unlikely ally. Each carriage has its own passengers and challenges, including finding lost belongings and instigating a worker revolution. The journey leads to the Control Room and the search for the missing train driver, with encounters offering moments of reflection and self-discovery.
