Our take on Nientum - Op.ZERO
The defining mechanic is stage tuning: musical notes restored from gems repair devices and shape the theatrical performances that follow.
What is Nientum - Op.ZERO?
Nientum - Op.
ZERO combines 2D platforming, puzzles, action, and music-based interactions in an adventure set inside a silent, abandoned theater. With their memories lost, Aleph becomes the Director and Liora the Actress. By tuning gems found throughout each stage, Aleph restores musical notes and repairs stage devices for upcoming performances. Familiar tales including The Wizard of Oz, Cinderella, and the Legend of King Arthur appear as reinterpreted musicals. Choices reveal pieces of both characters’ histories and can change the story’s conclusion. A Director’s Room stores collected items for viewing, while Free Play offers additional tracks outside the main narrative. The game includes music from several credited artists and voice performances for its main characters.
