Our take on Toy Tactics
The store pitch emphasizes large battles and five armies, but the clearest detail is about controlling formations, spells, and modes. Its broad battle spectacle is less specific than the tactical actions described.
What is Toy Tactics?
Toy Tactics is a physics-based real-time tactics game in which players command miniature-inspired units and draw formations on the battlefield.
The game can be paused while formations are drawn, from direct charges to pincer or wedge arrangements, and armies can be divided into battalions with separate commands. Battles feature simulated physics, destructible structures, spells, and relics. Defeating enemies charges power for abilities such as summoning catapults, healing allies, or calling down meteors. Five campaigns include boss fights, while additional modes include Puzzle, Mercenary, Sandbox, and Multiplayer. Multiplayer supports 1v1 matches and co-op, where two players fight AI opponents, coordinate, and produce units. Unit examples include skeletal dinosaurs, samurai, and Roman legions.

- 05Co-op and 1v1
- Multiplayer includes cooperative battles against AI and matches between two players.
