ActionIs Thrusty Ship worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Completionists who want to collect every Core without dying
- Speedrunners pursuing gold results in timed levels
- Action players who enjoy precision piloting and fuel management
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking relaxed progression may bounce off the fuel pressure and one-run Core challenges
- Players wanting broad combat systems may find the focus on piloting, collisions, and landing too narrow
- Users who rely on controller input in launchers may hit a control limitation before entering the game
Our take on Thrusty Ship
The bounce point arrives when fuel management and gravity combine with no-death Core goals. Players can also hit a wall in the later challenge structure: Time Trials lead into Kamikaze mode, where reaching the landing pad is followed by an intentional explosion.
What is Thrusty Ship?
Pilot a small spacecraft through space-based obstacle courses where gravity, fuel management, and collisions shape each run.
Collect Cores, destroy space debris, and reach landing pads across 72 main levels and 24 EXE expansion levels. Completing levels opens Time Trials, while finishing those trials unlocks Kamikaze mode, which requires reaching the pad and then exploding. Progression spans four worlds, including Eos, with additional mechanics introduced along the way. The ship roster includes five tier 1 ships, five tier 2 ships, five secret ships, and five EXE secret ships, each offering different attributes or special abilities. The game supports several Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam controller configurations, although the launcher does not support controllers.
