Our take on The Wonderful End of the World
Rather than using a conventional hero to stop the apocalypse, the game casts the player as a growing puppet that absorbs the world itself. Its central progression replaces equipment upgrades or combat victories with increasingly large objects to consume.
What is The Wonderful End of the World?
Play as a puppet that absorbs objects and grows larger with each collection.
The game starts with tiny items such as a glass marble and jellybeans, while rats and dogs can threaten the character. As the puppet expands, it can absorb larger objects, including fire engines and buildings. Across 12 locations, gather over a thousand treasures in settings such as a candy store, a surreal library, and a city with a world-ending parade. Three modes are available: Timed, Timeless, and Exploration. The game also includes 10 achievements connected to exploration and secret areas, plus 16 music tracks.
