What is The Valiant?
The Valiant is a squad-based real-time strategy game set in 13th-century Europe and the Middle East.
Its single-player campaign follows Theoderich von Akenburg as he searches for relics linked to the Rod of Aaron across 15 handcrafted missions. Players select hero and auxiliary squads, command units such as swordsmen and cavalry, and develop five or more hero squads through three skill trees each. Weapons and armor collected during the campaign provide statistics and special abilities that can be combined with hero skills for different builds. Multiplayer includes a three-player cooperative mode against enemy hordes, where knights gain experience and unlock skills and cosmetics. Competitive player-versus-player modes support 1v1 and 2v2 matches, with ranked rewards and cosmetic progression.
