Tides of Tomorrow is a solo narrative adventure set on a flooded ocean planet threatened by the disease Plastemia.
Players choose a Story-Link belonging to a friend, streamer, team member, or stranger, then follow that Tidewalker's path through the world. Earlier decisions can change levels, non-player characters, and narrative choices, while ghostly echoes show actions taken by previous players. Players also make decisions that shape later playthroughs. The journey includes sailing, resource gathering, exploration of floating isles, and encounters with factions such as the medicine-controlling Marauders, the survivor community called Reclaimers, and the past-worshipping Mystics. The central structure combines a single-player mission with consequences carried between players' experiences.
