- Players who want immediate, action-focused combat may bounce off turn-based positioning, interruptions, stealth setup, and loadout decisions
- Players looking for a solo-only experience may not want the co-op-focused twin setup and shared decisions

Our take on Expeditions: Samurai
The bounce point arrives when combat requires more than selecting an attack: positioning, interruptions, stealth, gadgets, crafting, and equipment choices all become part of the encounter. Players seeking a direct action loop may hit that layered tactical system early.
What is Expeditions: Samurai?
Lead a privateer crew in Japan during the 1600 civil war, navigating the politics and conflicts of feudal warlords.
Build a custom character and shape a branching story through stealth, diplomacy, or violence, with choices affecting the captain, crew, and people of Japan. Companions have individual stories, and relationships can develop into friendship, rivalry, or romance. Combat is turn-based, combining movement, attacks, and interruptions, while stealth, gadgets, ambushes, weapons, abilities, crafting, and equipment loadouts support different approaches. The game can be played alone as Captain Flynn or in drop-in/drop-out co-op as a pair of twins. Cooperative players share character conversations, compete over decisions and relationships, and coordinate stealth and combat maneuvers.
