Our take on Disgraced
Rather than centering only on a hero’s combat journey, the game combines role-playing with rebellion management. Character choices, companion teams, faction supplies, base upgrades, exploration, and tactical raids form one structure around the resistance campaign.
What is Disgraced?
Set in fictionalized feudal Japan, Disgraced casts the player as a conscripted soldier serving a corrupt shogunate.
The role-playing campaign follows a resistance movement and presents choices about duty, justice, and the character’s path. Players create and develop a character, choose an open class, recruit companions, and manage a rebel faction with supplies, funds, and base upgrades. Combat involves planning raids, selecting equipment, and developing team skills, with routes including ninja, ronin, or other approaches. The game combines open-world exploration, side quests, randomized loot, equipment degradation, changing weather, a day/night cycle, and an arena minigame. It includes more than 150 maps, areas, and lands, along with dozens of enemy types and hundreds of skills.
