What is Deep Sky Derelicts?
Deep Sky Derelicts combines turn-based strategy, RPG progression, card-based combat, and roguelike elements in a retro-futuristic comic-book setting.
Players control a mercenary squad of up to three characters as they explore abandoned alien ships, search for loot and clues, and encounter traders, inhabitants, and enemies. In battles, randomly drawn cards form the available set of combat actions. At the scavenger base, the crew can heal, gain levels, recruit mercenaries, equip and upgrade gear, and recharge energy for life support during missions. Procedurally generated content brings variation to expeditions. The game has story and arena modes and takes place in a dystopian future where human society is divided into two classes.
