What is The Lord of the Rings: Gollum™?
Play as Gollum in a story set alongside the events of The Fellowship of the Ring, following his effort to recover the Ring.
The journey takes him from Mordor to Mirkwood and other locations, where climbing and stealth are central to getting past obstacles and enemies. Gollum is not built around fighting: he can strangle an unwary foe when a chance arises, or find another way through danger. Choices also draw on his two personalities, Gollum and Smeagol. Decisions between their contrasting traits shape the story and affect his precarious alliances. The game presents an adaptation based on Tolkien’s literary works and follows adventures from Gollum’s past that were not previously told in detail.
