Our take on The Gravedigger
Instead of treating grave digging as a brief horror set piece, the game makes it the central nightly job. Progress depends on balancing paid excavation, evidence gathering, bone recovery, and corruption control while the demon grows stronger after each sleep.
What is The Gravedigger?
Work nights as a church gravedigger, excavating three graves before each sleep.
Search for valuables to earn payment, investigate clues and puzzles, and locate six burnt bones that must be returned to the mausoleum or altar. Graves may contain locked compartments requiring purchased lockpicks, while up to 72 active sites make identifying the right locations part of the investigation. Money funds defensive items and upgrades from the Paranormal Pantry, including tools for removing corruption. Corruption increases demonic activity, and a sufficiently strong demon can kill the player. Three difficulty levels are available: Standard, Hard, and Nightmare. Standard allows saving, but death deletes saved data. Main and hidden stories lead to two endings.
