What is The Dwarves?
The Dwarves is a story-led fantasy RPG set across Girdlegard, where dwarf Tungdil travels through a world of snow-covered peaks, deserts, secrets, characters, and optional puzzles.
Battles take place in real time against large groups of orcs, ogres, elves, zombies, dark mages, and other enemies. The player commands 15 heroes, each with distinct skills, while pausing combat to choose the next move. A world map allows free movement and encounters with inhabitants and adventures. Actions taken during exploration can produce far-reaching consequences. The game’s story is based on Markus Heitz’s novel The Dwarves and centers on the dwarf race.
