Our take on Soulash 2
The listing gives equal weight to conquest, crafting, settlement management, trading, farming, and family legacy. That breadth signals a wide sandbox, but it also means the core experience is less clearly defined than the heroic premise of saving or destroying a world.
What is Soulash 2?
Soulash 2 is a sandbox RPG roguelike set in procedurally generated fantasy worlds with simulated histories.
Settlements develop through trade, resource extraction, food use, occupations, wages, character lifecycles, and war. Characters gain skills and unlock abilities through activities, allowing paths such as exploration, crafting, architecture, farming, combat, trading, or thievery. Crafting uses selected resources and magical ingredients fitted into recipe slots. Players can build structures, establish settlements, assign families to work, and start a family whose descendants continue the legacy. Three modes change the consequences of death: High Fantasy allows resurrection at a friendly location with penalties, Dark Fantasy removes the character while preserving the world, and Hardcore removes both character and world progress.
