Our take on The Merchant's Guide to the Kingdom
The defining perspective is that of a shopkeeper and guild master: the player directs a guild from the safety of a shop while other heroes pursue their own goals.
What is The Merchant's Guide to the Kingdom?
Play as a shopkeeper and guild master in a simulated MMORPG world.
Trade and craft equipment, manage resource networks, recruit customizable officers and other heroes, assign roles, and equip parties for dungeons, world events, and raids of up to 40 players. Heroes outside the guild act independently, forming parties, accepting quests, and exploring the realm. Posted quests and other decisions influence adventurers’ actions, settlements, and the economy. Follow a campaign about protecting the Elemental Stones. Choose Softcore or Hardcore play; Hardcore makes hero deaths permanent. Fishing is also available.
