Our take on Slice & Dice
Its defining constraint is the full-run reset: one lost fight sends the five-hero party back to the start, making every reroll and tactical choice part of a single 20-level attempt.
What is Slice & Dice?
Control a party of five heroes, each represented by a distinct die, in turn-based battles against randomly generated encounters.
Before resolving a turn, choose which dice to reroll and treat each round as a small tactical puzzle. Victories offer a choice between improving a hero and taking an item. The run spans 20 levels and ends with a final boss attempt, but losing one fight sends the run back to the beginning. The game includes 128 hero classes, 73 monsters, 473 items, multiple modes, curses, modding, online leaderboards, and Steam achievements. Dice use 3D physics, actions can be undone freely, and combinations between heroes, items, and rolls shape each encounter.
